Refugee support: Over 40 nationalities served in 2022 (mostly Afghan and Syrian, then DRC, Iraq, Cameroon, and others). Sustained partnership with Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) to provide essential health services, child vaccinations, OBGYN care, and PPE to refugee camps and establishments across Greece to reach refugee patients, from Afghanistan, Syria, Palestine, Algeria, Somalia, Iraq, Sudan, Kuwait, Cameroon, and DRC. |
CRITIAL SITUATION
Inadequate shelter, limited access to healthcare, and precarious living conditions exacerbate the vulnerability of refugees, including women and children. Since 2016, we have provided medical relief to refugees from the Middle East and Africa, including Syrian refugees in refugee camps in Lebanon, Iraq, and Greece. |
