A report released on December 30, 2020, by the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States warned that the number of Venezuelan refugees and migrants could rise to 7 million in 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic has worsened the situation for Venezuelan refugees in Colombia, with 134,000 being forced to return to their unstable home between March and September 2020 after losing their livelihoods. Aid is being used as a weapon against the people of Venezuela, as the government continues to withhold vital supplies from the democratic west to the catastrophic detriment of millions of suffering Venezuelans. In addition to losing their jobs and homes, refugees are unable to access food, drinking water, and electricity. Compounding this is the effect of armed groups who have increased their hold over certain regions, claiming to be 'COVID crisis controllers'.
To combat this, Give to the World has been working with Motorrad Angels in Colombia to deliver clean water filtration systems, distribute food, medical, and dental supplies to vulnerable communities. A 'work forward' program also works to address the loss of livelihoods by setting up single mothers with a coffee cart, and therefore, a sustainable income source. By supporting these communities, Give to the World hopes to alleviate some of the pressure felt by the refugees, whilst reducing the influence of armed groups.
Venezuela remains a key area of concern as the country enters its seventh year of economic crisis, with approximately 25% of the population in need of humanitarian assistance. Venezuelans remaining inside the country suffer from severe fuel, food, and medication shortages. Unfortunately, aid is being used as a weapon against the people of Venezuela, as the government continues to withhold vital supplies from the democratic West to the catastrophic detriment of millions of suffering Venezuelans.

Honduras suffers from high rates of poverty, with 60% of the population living on less than $3.20 per day. This has been compounded by recent natural disasters, namely Hurricanes Eta and Iota. Deforestation has reduced water retention in the soil, worsening the flooding caused by these hurricanes. In rural areas, only 44% of the water is up to health standards due to absence of water quality control, and is set to get worse.
Give to the World has partnered with Motorrad angels, whose Honduras chapter has provided citizens of Honduras with clean water filters. The Honduras clean water filter project has provided over 10,000 villagers with clean water thus far.
